Looking back at the whole set and trying to characterise what appeals to me, I think most of them have bold colours and an abstract quality. I seem to pick images that have strong forms and perhaps, because of the scale (large target or a close up macro shot), are stripped of some of their original context. Sometimes you can tell what the target was and sometimes not but the forms are generally bold.
A final note on favourites to conclude the series – if you like the pictures by any of the photographers featured in my collection you can probably find more that appeal by looking at their favourites – and so on, almost ad infinitum
