Meeting with the rest of the ‘Teeth in a pub last night, we noted the white and red of the English flag decorating the place. That was leading up to today, 23 April: St George’s Day.
Background information can be had from Wikipedia and there is, inevitably, a St George’s Day website. The latter is inoffensive unless you are a champion of the English language, which typically calls for a more robust approach to punctuation. Watch for the 49-word sentence that needs more than the few commas provided to keep it going!
