Since finishing my Fiftytwo self-portrait project at the end of August, I have had to think a bit harder about what to blog about on Saturdays.
What I am doing to keep my photography skills growing is to try and take place in the weekly assignments on the Digital Photography School forums. This week the subject is “headshots” and my original idea involved an old passport photo (the classic “headshot” that most of us have to put up with) in the foreground and myself lurking in the background.
However, while doing some music practise with Jane, I noticed the amazing reflections from her flute on the wall and (with her permission) took this shot. I have done a bit of post processing work with The Gimp to enhance the colour and contrast but the pattern of light in the background is just as I saw it.
