A few adverts are starting to appear between tracks but still so infrequently that it is not a major inconvience. I don’t know if the amount of advertising will increase as I use the service more but, for now, I can live with it. In return, I am getting to select what I want to listen to from a huge online catalogue. It is not comprehensive (no Frank Zappa – but looking for him did lead me to discover the Ensemble Modern) but certainly a far wider collection than I would want to actually own and store.
I’m currently listening to Jeff Beck’s Guitar Shop – and you will see plenty more material from Spotify on my Last.fm profile.
