I have had a busy few days since I last posted. I’ve finished a couple more books (including one I need to write a review of), laid in supplies to start boarding up my loft (more DIY!) and enjoyed a meal including mopane worms (that was at the work party on Wednesday, where my contribution was also well received).
And now it is snowing outside. I have contributed my report to the UK Snow Map and hope that we won’t suffer too much disruption to our Christmas plans because of the weather. I also hope it won’t get in the way of the planned protest to save Headington Library later this morning. Inclement weather is one of the reasons why a widely distributed library network is a much better model for serving the community than expecting everyone to trek miles to a few centres.
