Blueshifting by Heather Kamins

Book Cover

Blueshifting

They say that one shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover but the intricate clockwork used on this edition of Heather Kamins’ Blueshifting is quite fitting. It is a fairly short work, with sixteen poems, most of which easily fit within the span of a page or so, but each is exquisitely crafted with ample rewards for taking time to chew the cud of them.

I have not yet fathomed all of these gems but as a whole they tend towards a speculative or science fiction bent (again, that cover could be seen as giving a clue). Very impressive and I would give it 5/5.
