Duruflé’s Requiem

As a musical treat tonight, Jane and I are planning to attend St Andrew’s Church, Headington for a performance of Duruflé’s Requiem by the Keble College Chapel Choir. It is not a piece I am familiar with but, listening to a sample online and knowing the quality of the Oxford college choirs, I am anticipating good things.

The performance starts at 6:30pm and is free, with a retiring offering to support the choir’s forthcoming tour to Poland.

It’s a lovely peace of music. Apologies for the plub but The City of Oxford Choir (that I chair) is going to be performing it too on 5th October at Exeter College. http://www.oxfordchoir.org/concert-diary (although details not there yet!)

The plug is very welcome; I loved this piece of music and am quite keen to hear it again!
