My latest beer brew, Slow Flowers, is now into the bottle — thirteen of them but 12 are 330ml Grolsch bottles.
I wonder if I left it in the fermentor too long; I was waiting for the krausen on top of the brew to break up but when, after over a week, I checked the gravity it was already down to 1.006. I reckon I could have checked two or three days earlier and still got the same result.
I would admit that it doesn’t have a particularly remarkable flavour at the moment, drinkable but not distinguished. However, I’ll let it rest for a week or two before I start sampling. Meanwhile, time to start thinking about what the next one will be.
