Well, almost the next day. Here is the comparable view of the back garden taken just a couple of days after yesterday’s image:
Jane insisted as she had been doing some tidying up along the edge of the central bed. As well as moving some of the existing plants around for what will hopefully be an improved display, it makes room for a number of new plants we bought – heleniums, rudbeckias and lupins. Those arrived as mail order plug plants and we have them potted up and putting on some size on the polytunnel at the moment. In a a week or so we should be safer from the threat of frost and they will also be better able to resist a few nibbles from slugs and snails.
