This is another colouring book from Light Burst Media. Compared to the 80s Fashion I reviewed, this one is great. The patterning of many of the butterflies and flowers is often fascinating and the line width of the designs is kept fairly thin to avoid the line being too overpowering compared to the colour.
However, each page consists of a number of natural motifs which are often distinct and never completely fill the page. There is nothing, of course, to stop the artist filling the spaces with patterns of their own but then why not start from scratch.
It could be diverting but I think it sits in the shadows of the wide range of competing titles that are available in this field and, if I may mix my metaphors, fails to take flight.
