Yesterday I threw together another track for my RPM Challenge album, One Bright Morning:
It is essentially an arrangement of the chordal pattern for the Old Time Gospel classic, I’ll Fly Away, played on ukulele. However, as well as playing through the arrangement a few times, I’ve gradually increased the reverb and faded the volume, creating an interesting effect.
I’ve also had another listen to the Black and Blues Guitar track I posted on Saturday. The recording is a bit harsh, not helped by the fact that the second part is picking up a distorted version of the first part – so much for hoping GarageBand would do something clever with the monitoring. However, it is what it is and the rawness isn’t unfitting. Some would create that with expensive effects but I’ve produced it for free!
