Rhubarb and Custard

Today I pulled my first rhubarb stalks of the year. Since there were already some thick stalks on my ‘Timperley Early’ plant, I figured I might as well make a start, particularly since I didn’t have any it last year.

Anyway, that provided for a rhubarb pie, served with custard, as my dessert this evening.
