I have just discovered that Yahoo! is now available in green. Is that a corporate commitment to environmental responsibility or just jumping on another gas-guzzling bandwagon? I suspect there is a mixture of both, although I understand the company is taking measures to become “carbon neutral” so I am happy to give them the benefit of the doubt for the moment.
I do not use Yahoo! much directly as a portal or search engine but I do make regular use of some of their subsidiary services, like Flickr and del.icio.us. I wonder how long before Flickr users stop saying “best on black” or “view on white” but “check it out in green”?
Anyway, green is a good colour, so no complaints from me.
