Time to get back in the blogging saddle. I got back from Soul Survivor on Thursday but I’m now almost caught up on sleep and partway through packing away the equipment I used.
It was a typically excellent week, with the boat pushed out a little further on the final night to mark the end of this event’s run. The mood wasn’t despondent but full of hope. Other events will be taking up the baton and, God willing, what Soul Survivor has been doing well for the past quarter century will be multiplied in the future.
Right, time to sweep the (now dried) mud off the bottom of the tarpaulin I used under my tent and to take a moment for those groups getting ready for the first evening meeting of week C, the last Soul Survivor week ever.
