Gram Flour

I was at the supermarket this morning for a pre-Easter top up (Morrisons, Loughborough – a bit of queuing but not too long a wait at just after 9am this morning). Among other things, I did manage to get some flour… but it was gram flour, made from chickpeas.

I know it isn’t the same as the wheat flour I was after but it will do for now. Time to experiment with learning some recipes from another chapter of the flour book, such as Farinata.

ps. As you may have guessed, ‘the flour book’ is an imaginary volume in my head. You probably can buy one or several tomes with that name but not that one!
