Cacophonous Night

If you listen to my latest musical release, you might be forgiven for thinking that I’ve been going a little too hard on the Christmas music!

Cacophonous Night

I was in the process of adding several contributions from members of my church music team to a base version of Silent Night that I created last week, when I heard this. This is before the crucial stage of lining all the tracks up so they start in the same place and sound harmonious. However, there is something strangely enchanting about the tangled lines running against each other and – if you can manage to persist to the end – resolving into the sweetness more typically associated with this tune.

It is going to sound lush when I do align everything but, meanwhile, enjoy this finding from the cutting room floor. This one definitely has radiant beams!
