Not Beetroot

More dehydrator experimenting today – I tried beetroot. That wasn’t such a success as the tomatoes and apples I’d done so far – the slices ended up dull, hard and accentuating some of beetroot’s natural earthiness. Perhaps much thinner slices would have been better or using a lower temperature? These ones I’ve left in longer and I’ll try them in my spice blender to see if I can produce a beetroot powder instead.
