This is one of the songs I got recorded yesterday – it made it to the front of the queue because I was going to bring it in person to the toddlers group at church this morning but, with my continuing positive tests (another today), that wasn’t going to happen.
The background image is a cherry tree that grew opposite the house I used to live in, down in Oxford. We used to visit an elderly neighbour, outside whose living room window it grew. We’d do a bit of cleaning and then sit and chat with Reg over a cup of tea, enjoying particularly the dense blossom in the spring and the glorious, fiery display in autumn.
Anyway, three songs down so far this week and it looks like I might need to get another one or two finished off as I probably won’t be able to fulfil my planned worship leading slot in person.
